March in Texas is the best! 

We were able to take Owen on plenty of fun little adventures around town this month!

The Ninja Gym for a birthday party.

 The Tulip Fields in Pilot Point, for maternity pictures... I'll post some!

 A cooking class and a swim class, hosted by a friend we met on Instagram!

We took advantage of Ikea's family activities for spring break.

 We soaked in the weather with trips to the park, picnics, and a bike ride with friends.

We took a day trip to Eisenhower State Park with our friends Annette, Bryan, and their two year old, Cole. Annette is due the same week as me! We love these guys, they are the ones who let us borrow their car while ours was in the shop... so nice!

The month ended with Rick & Sue surprising Gavin and Owen and showing up in Dallas! It was so fun to be sneaky about it, and see the boys' excitement. I'll post about their trip separately :)

February 2018

February was a month full of little adventures. We didn't do anything big or exciting, but we stayed busy and entertained. Lacrosse season started and I coached Hockaday Middle School again. The girls are such cute, good girls! Lots of talent on the team too! It's been so fun to work with them!

We found plenty of indoor fun

At the mall storytime and yoga,

At Home Depot's free kid's workshop,

At church playgrounds,

Entertainment Spaces

and Rec Centers

We went out for an embarrassing amount of treats! But I hit 20 weeks in my pregnancy so I had a good excuse to eat a lot (though maybe I should have used those extra calories for something healthy)

A PB cup doughnut from WOW, an ice cream doughnut sandwich from Milk & Cream, and of course, Steel City Pops. I'm pretty sure Cheesecake Factory desserts were in there too, for valentines day, but I didn't take a picture. Dang.

I had a few girls nights to celebrate birthdays and Galentines

I hit my halfway mark in this pregnancy. Pregnancy is freaking rough. 

But it's better when you have a lot of friends going through the same thing!

The three of us are due within a week of each other!

We found a little bit of outdoor fun!

We went to one of our usual parks in Carrollton.

and found a waterfall in Fort Worth.

Just for personal journal/records sake... our car needed a major repair this month... a new engine. It was a huge financial blow to us and caused a lot of stress. But I guess if that's the worst of our problems, we've got it pretty good.

January in Texas 2018

Coming back to Texas after being in Utah for the holidays, we tried to make the most of the colder weather.

We went to the indoor pool

and went to our favorite indoor playground. I should lighten this photo.. whoops.

We also went to the zoo on a cold weather day. I don't know what we were thinking! We were so under dressed and cold!

That one day that wasn't freezing, we went on a bike ride. Owen is getting good at riding his strider bike!

I'm not a huge fan of the cold unless there's snow to play in. Hopefully the no-snow thing pays off and we're swimming in March!

January in Utah 2018

Our year started out in Utah... we were still in town from our Christmas trip!

We rang in the new year by FINALLY putting Gavin and Owen's hand-prints on my parents' wall.

We went skiing... fun fact... we pulled over on the way up the mountain so I could throw up. Morning sickness hit hard! Luckily, after puking a few times early in the morning, I felt fine the rest of the day. Just a little weak. And of course I played it pretty cautious.

I grabbed lunch with my girl friends

And took a day trip to Park City.

We went bowling... a new favorite competitive hobby of the McCleary's

Cheered on Morganne at her basketball game

And said our "see ya later's" at the airport.

We love our trips "home"!
