Call Me Coach

After years of high school and college filled with homework, sports ,and little work, cutting that list down to only work made me stir crazy real fast. SO, I added a few more things to my schedule.
I am coaching preschool gymnastics again at Gymcats on Friday mornings and I am also coaching two lacrosse teams. The RHS girls team has a website on which the recently published my lacrosse bio. Because I haven't blogged in a while and love talking about myself, I am sharing it on the blog.

Age: 22
Years played: 6; 2 for Riverton, 4 for BYU
Favorite lacrosse experience: Going undefeated in our Georgia tournament last year. Three of the four teams we played were top 10. One game we were down 6 (?) at half time and came back to win. We also had to play three games in one day because we had to move the Texas game from Friday night to Saturday night. We started the game on Friday and the game became extremely intense after just a few minutes. Before half time, we had to head inside because of lightning and ended up playing Pictionary against Texas in a tornado shelter. They may have beat us in Pictionary, but we had an amazing lacrosse game the next night and we beat them good. Our team played SO well together. I could relive that tournament, and especially the Texas game, over and over again. Words don't describe it.
Color: Pink, or turquoise
Looking forward to: Helping girls develop a passion for lacrosse like I have.
Pregame ritual: I always do the team cheer with the head of my stick up, and everyone else's is down.
Pregame food: Cliff gel energy blocks- they work.
Song or Artist: I'll be honest... Taylor Swift
TV Show and Movie: Modern Family... Baby Mama, Pitch Perfect, 500 Days of Summer
Most difficult thing about playing: I actually think there are a lot of difficulties- lack of support from schools, not starting or getting as much playtime as you would like, having a bad game.
Something interesting most people don't know about me: I held (hold?) the record for RHS girl's pole vault. Haha. I wasn't good at all, I was just one of the few girls who tried it.
What I want to be when I grow up: Something. I am working in a treatment center for troubled teenage girls right now and love it. I think I will always be working in this field.
