Kamas

Cabin plans didn't fall through this past weekend, so Gavin and I drove up to Kamas to stay at Maddy's family's literally retro cabin. Colorful carpet. Old piano. Plastic couches. No service. It was awesome. We played a lot of Uno and enjoyed the Autumn scenery. I stayed up until 2 am which has not happened in probably over a year. It was a proud moment looking at that clock.
^^ Trying to catch a mouse^^
 ^^Almost caught Aaron smiling for a picture^^

Baby Shower

The closer to due-date we get, the more excited we get! Especially when family graciously throws us a baby shower and gives us presents for the little "it".
Even though we don't know the gender of our baby either, it still feels like we are hanging it over people's heads. These people hate it but I think it's fun. Gavin's mom and sisters used the "surprise baby" theme and decorated everything so cute!
This baby is already incredibly blessed with love and support of awesome friends and family. I need to teach "it" to write pretty soon so that we can get started on all the thank-you cards!

Pin Happy

My being 7 months pregnant and lack of wanting to work out has given me some time to explore my non-existent artistic side.
With the help of my trustee husband, we made this frame...
 And decorated it like so...
Looking at the pictures makes me realize how off-balance it is!
But in my defense... it looks alright for a $100 budget and not being able to paint or puncture apartment walls.
Happy Fall Y'all!

South Dakota

I love love love Gavin. One reason I love him is that when I want to see Mount Rushmore all of a sudden, he's game for a 12 hour drive across Wyoming to spend a day in South Dakota. Happy Labor Day!
^^This is how I feel about Wyoming^^
^^It only looks sketchy from the outside, I swear!^^
^^Like my bump?!^^
^^Bear country... We drove through a wildlife park so I guess that's one step better than the zoo. Black bears are my new favorite animal... I wanted to give them all a hug they're so cute!^^

In all, the trip took us 3 days and cost less than $500. It was actually better than I thought it would be considering we spent time in Wyoming and South Dakota.
Would we do it again? Probably not.
Are we glad we did it once? Definitely.
