The Narrows in Southern Utah

That time back in May we went to Hurricane, UT for a wedding and used it as an excuse to explore Zion National Park...
To do this hike you just need to park at the Zion National Park visitor center, buy a day pass, and take the shuttle to the last stop. It's about a half hour shuttle ride from the visitor center to the trailhead of the Narrows.
The research I did beforehand made me nervous about not having proper shoes or waders or a walking stick. Yah that research was a tourist trap. All that gear is pretty unnecessary except maybe a walking stick. As long as you have water shoes or sandals (Keens, Teva's, Chaco's, etc.) you'll be fine. It's a real easy area to explore, the scenery is great, and the water feels good on a hot day! Bring snacks!
